  Oversees the One-Stop Career Center system
  
  Seeks to maximize the efficiency of the local labor market, meet and surpass customers' expectations and exceed federally required and state determined performance standards
  
  WIB standing committees are:

  • Communications/Marketing - Develops and implements marketing methods that publicize programs, services and activities available through the One-Stop system
  • Disability Committee - Seeks to insure that persons with disabilities have access to the full range of One-Stop Career Center services
  • Literacy - Consolidates and coordinates literacy resources
  • One-Stop Career Center - Insures that the interests of job seekers and employers are equally represented in the One-Stop system
  • Youth Investment Council - Develops a strategic plan for tri-county youth, recommends youth programs for funding through the Workforce Investment Act, monitors youth programs approved by the WIB, and creates a youth one-stop career system that links to the larger One-Stop Career Center system
