Plans, develops, provides and monitors a coordinated human services delivery system targeted toward, but no limited to, services pertaining to at-risk youth, substance abuse, mental health, homelessness, child care and low income families.
Responsible for the operation of the Morris County Juvenile Detention Center and the Youth Shelter.
Provides services through several Federal and State funding streams, as well as operating One-Stop Career Centers for Morris, Sussex and Warren counties.
Provides nursing home and adult day care and related services. The facility accepts Medicaid, Medicare A and private pay insurance. Facility tours are available by appointment.
Administers Food Stamps, General Assistance, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Child Support and Paternity, and Social Services which includes volunteer services and homeless services.
Responsible for planning, policy guidance and oversight of the workforce investment system. Its goal is to combine area employment, training and supportive services and programs into a consumer-based, market-driven system that meets the neeeds of job seekers and employers.
